The tool and the card format are open, and you can leave with everything.
This page says what is open source and what is not, where your world lives, and who runs the project. Where something is a trade-off, it says so.
Two licences cover the open parts, and one part is not open.
| Part | Licence | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Card format, schemas, libraries, adapters | Apache 2.0 | Anyone may use, change and build on them, also inside closed products, as long as the licence and copyright notices stay with the code. |
| The app: board, API, MCP server | AGPL 3.0 or later | Anyone may use, change and share it; whoever offers a changed version to others over a network must publish those changes under the same licence. |
| The operator's exchange platform | Not open source | Run by Caprey SAS at /trade/. |
A card format only helps if anyone can adopt it without friction, so it carries the permissive licence. The app carries the AGPL so that improvements stay open even when someone runs it as a service.
The tool and the card format are open source and free to use. The code goes public with the first trade; until then it is not published, and nothing on this site asks you to install anything. The card format is described under Cards.
Your files are the truth, and leaving costs you nothing.
Your world is a folder of Markdown files, each card one file with its fields at the top, on a machine you control. Any database or index the tool builds is derived from those files and can be rebuilt from them. To leave, you take the folder; nothing you need stays behind. Cards you take from the exchange arrive as the same kind of file.
An order is exactly as free as its exit costs are low.
Local or cloud is your choice, and the default is hybrid.
- By default, your agents may use cloud models.
- Every use of a cloud model is logged, so you can see what went where.
- One switch locks cloud use off. Then nothing goes to a cloud model.
- When a card is allowed to go to the cloud, it goes complete, with its references.
The trade-off is real. Cloud models are often stronger and more convenient today, and using one means the card is processed on another company's computers under its terms. Keeping everything on your own machine means nothing leaves it, and you work with the models you can run yourself. Reraise does not make that choice for you; it makes the choice visible.
Caprey SAS, a company in Argentina, runs the project.
Reraise is an open project of Caprey SAS, Argentina (CUIT 30-71907992-6). The project speaks as the company; this site names no investors, partners or other people behind it.
Caprey SAS also has a sister project, Private Executive: a closed product, sold separately and not on this site, that includes the same board. That is why the footer reads “Powered by Private Executive”. Reraise itself does not sell anything, and nothing on this site has a price.
This website uses what you send only to answer you.
- What you send through a form, such as your email address and a message, is used only to answer you and, when you sign up, to keep your number. It is stored together with the network address it was sent from.
- Your email address is never shown publicly; only your number is.
- There are no tracking cookies. The exchange keeps your key and your “believed” marks in your own browser's storage, on your device.
